Smewindia presents Dao (Naga Sword). This Smewindia’s version of the Naga sword is a little bit different and has a modern touch to it.
This sword has its origin in the northeast region of India specifically Assam and Nagaland. This sword has a wooden hilt. The blade has an unusual tip which is different from being pointy. The tip of the Dao (Naga Sword) is squarish in shape.
In the desi language, this is also called Assamese Khanda, it acts as a tool for people. It is used in many ways by the Naga people, e.g. for building houses, clearing the forest, digging the earth, making the women’s weaving tools, and creating any kind of wooden objects.
Smewindia provides a protective leather cover for this Dao (Naga Sword) which helps the people to carry it. It has a single side edge to the blade, but smewindia provides a blunt edge to the customer. The blade is almost straight with a slight curve to it.
