Embroidery Hoop – The Hands of God and Adam

This artwork has been inspired by the famous The Creation of Adam painting, which is one of Italian artist Michelangelo’s greatest works of art. This artwork illustrates the creation of Adam, the First Man. 

The material used is casement cloth and embroidery threads. Edges of the hoop are given a nice and clean finish by painted with acrylic color. The base is the cloth piece and an embroidery hoop which helps in holding the cloth tight. This embroidery hoop works like a frame for the embroidery performed and the tightening system of the outer ring acts as a hanging hole for the hoop.
